The Prointec
Prointec - Municipal Technological Innovation Program - plays a fundamental role as an instrument of public policy aimed at promoting science, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship in Santa Rita do Sapucaí.
It consists of 6 lines of actions: incubation of technology-based companies, post-incubation of technology-based companies, acceleration of creative ventures, awards, support for scientific and technological research, support for technology and creative fairs.

How to get Prointec
Prointec is located in the South of Minas Gerais, in Brazil. The main highway that crosses the municipality is the BR-459. Being only 30 km away from another important highway, the BR-381 (Fernão Dias Highway), in Pouso Alegre. Just a few kilometers from Santa Rita do Sapucaí, the MG-179 highway connects to the Paraíba Valley.
Belo Horizonte to Santa Rita do Sapucaí: 450 km via Fernão Dias Highway BR-381.
São Paulo to Santa Rita do Sapucaí: 220 km via Fernão Dias Highway BR-381.
Rio de Janeiro to Santa Rita do Sapucaí: 380 km via Dutra Highway BR-116 and BR-459.
